Change the pattern,

Warp and bend,

Wrench aside,

Divide and scatter,

Uproot and rend;
Reshape the image, renew the trend;
It doesn't matter

What the form

So long as you break

With a past and shatter

The mirror's norm;
Shove off and ride the renewing storm;
Reawaken to purpose,

Replenish the blood,

Reforge the nerve,

Redirect the currents

Of fire and flood;
Be born again from primal mud;
The ancient pattern

Is dying fast;

Destroy the pattern

Of the dying past

And start again;
But know your hour, the why and when;
Reset the column,

Realign the stair,

The rise and pitch,

The lure and lift

Into rarified air;
But never arrive, for the end is there.
